2024 Winter Camp

This winter, Bright Choice Foundation hosted an enriching and engaging camp for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade boys. Held during the holiday break, the camp brought together students from across Texas and Oklahoma, fostering personal growth, spiritual enrichment, and meaningful connections. With an agenda designed to inspire, educate, and entertain, the winter camp became an experience to remember.

Program

The camp’s program was thoughtfully structured to nurture both the minds and spirits of attendees. Spiritual learning sessions encouraged self-reflection and mindfulness, helping students strengthen their faith and develop a deeper sense of purpose. Experienced mentors and speakers provided career-focused discussions, covering essential topics such as leadership, goal-setting, and personal development. These sessions empowered students with knowledge and motivation to shape their future paths confidently.

A special SAT program was also included for 11th grade students. Our mentors conducted two focused classes—one on Math and one on English—to help advance their SAT skills. These sessions provided valuable strategies and practice, ensuring that students were better prepared for their college entrance exams.

Activities

Beyond insightful discussions, the camp offered an array of exciting activities. Students engaged in team-building exercises, outdoor sports, and friendly competitions, including basketball, soccer, and paintball. A dedicated recreation area allowed participants to unwind, bond, and enjoy their time together. The combination of physical activity and social engagement fostered lasting friendships and a strong sense of camaraderie.

The camp concluded with a heartwarming closing ceremony, where students reflected on their journey, shared their experiences, and celebrated their achievements. Laughter, inspiration, and a sense of accomplishment filled the air as attendees bid farewell to a truly transformative winter break.
